About Apollo Upper Cervical Chiropractic

Who we are, what we believe, and how we care for the top of your spine.

About Us

At Apollo Upper Cervical Chiropractic we use 3D CT imaging, through our Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) machines, to look closely at the cervical spine, your neck.

We specialize in analyzing specific areas of your neck and the rest of your spine. That lets us give specific, scientific chiropractic adjustments to your upper cervical spine, and to other areas of your spine if and when needed. We tailor your care recommendations to you alone, by looking at three things: your 3D CT images, your posture evaluation through our software, and your spinal examination.

The brain controls all messages to every cell in the body, including messages of health and healing. The top two vertebrae of the neck, the atlas and the axis, sit right next to the spinal cord and the control centers of the brain. If the atlas and axis are out of alignment, the brain may not be able to communicate properly with the rest of the body, and health problems can begin to appear.

Upper cervical care is a specialized approach to chiropractic that corrects misalignments of the atlas or axis, to support the body’s normal function and health. It’s as simple as that.

Our Philosophy

  1. The nervous system is the master system. It makes all the other systems work together.

  2. The structure of the nervous system can be altered, which leads to incorrect communication between brain cells and tissue cells. We simply call this a subluxation.

  3. Subluxations can have profound physical, chemical and mental effects on a person, producing pain as well as psycho-emotional disturbances. When this happens to a significant number of people in a community, you have a sick society.

  4. Chiropractors locate, analyze and correct these subluxations, allowing health to return… naturally.

  5. We each have an innate intelligence, our inborn wisdom. As chiropractors, we help unlock the intelligence inside of you.

Our Mission

Mission

Our mission is to create a healthier community by locating, analyzing, correcting and teaching vertebral subluxations. It is Dr. Kosta’s personal mission to teach people that the greatest doctor resides inside of you. That doctor needs no help healing you. What it needs is for nothing to interfere between the brain and every system, cell and tissue of the body. So the nervous system must be established as the dominant factor for all healing and health.

Vision

Our vision is to see and help infants, children, adults and the elderly live better lives, expressing life and function at their full potential. Our purpose is to locate vertebral subluxations, adjust them, and allow each person’s innate intelligence to flourish, so they adapt better to the physical, chemical and mental stresses of daily life.
